I have three to four streaks on both sides near my thighs. They itch more in hot weather and very little in cold weather. The problem has been there for six months; the streaks stay as they are.

Hello

Have a Healthy Day !!

Welcome to the world of health from Ayurveda conducted by Dr. Nikul Patel.

You have 3–4 streaks on both thighs that itch more in the heat. These streaks are mostly formed by stretching of the skin (weight gain/loss, rapid growth), and itching increases there with heat and sweat.

If the marks are round with red, spreading edges, it may be a fungal infection (ringworm) – then show a skin doctor once.

  1. Gandhak rasayan – 2 tablets morning and evening (1 month)
  2. Massage the streaks every night with coconut oil mixed with aloe vera gel
  3. When it itches, apply sandalwood paste or kokum oil
  4. Wear cotton, loose clothes; dry the area immediately if you sweat

Diet: Reduce sour, spicy and fermented food; drink enough water.
