As you describe, your wife has abdominal pain due to gas, along with pain in the chest and back.
She has also had a uterus operation. Often after an operation, weakness from its physical and mental effects makes such pain natural and common; with some rest it will improve by itself.
Right now, because she is resting and not walking or working, digestion also slows down, gas keeps forming and causes such trouble. If the chest pain is severe, comes with breathlessness, sweating or fever, see the doctor immediately.
- Chitrakadi vati 2 tablets twice a day after meals
- Yograj guggulu 2 tablets twice a day
- Dashmoolarishta 10 ml morning and evening after meals
- Gently massage Mahanarayan oil on the painful back and chest area morning and evening
Diet:
- Stop pulses and gas-forming foods
- Avoid gram-flour items
- Do not take stale food
- Do not eat fermented items
- Do not stay awake late at night
- Stop market snacks and take fresh, light food
- Avoid very spicy, salty and sour food
- Avoid pickles and fermented items
Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatment will also be beneficial:
- Virechana karma
- Basti karma
- Shirodhara
At such a time, stay away from negative thoughts and always think positively.
If you go for a walk every morning and practise yoga, pranayama and meditation, you will benefit faster.
For better results, practise the following regularly:
- Paschimottanasana
- Chakrasana
- Pavanamuktasana
- Pranayama
