Sir, I am 42 years old. My sex life is good, and my wife and I are mutually satisfied. However, for the past two to three months, I have been experiencing severe itching around the front part of my penis. Whenever the itching occurs, I wash the area with water, which provides some relief.
For the past month, I have had difficulty pulling back the foreskin, and it causes some pain. It feels as though the skin has become stuck. When I apply a little oil, the skin becomes softer and can move back and forth. After that, I am able to have sexual intercourse. During penetration, the skin seems to become softer gradually. However, over the past week, the foreskin has also started becoming red.
I clean my penis every morning while bathing and wash it thoroughly with soap. Sometimes I apply coconut oil, and at other times I use sesame oil for massage. I was away from home for about a month and did not have sexual intercourse during that period, but I resumed sexual activity two days ago.
I would like to know whether this problem could be caused by washing with soap or applying oil. What could cause itching, redness, and difficulty retracting the foreskin? Which oil, if any, would be suitable, and does this condition require specific treatment? Please guide me appropriately.
