Hello

Have a Healthy Day !!

Welcome to the world of health from Ayurveda conducted by Dr. Nikul Patel.

As per your problem, you are 26 years old and want to increase your weight.

Weight and height are one yardstick of modern science, but they are not true in every respect – weight alone is not a measure of health. However, weight that keeps falling excessively is a disease. In today’s fashion world, people with more weight struggle to reduce it and people with less weight struggle to increase it, and everyone wonders whether they are healthy or not. If our yardstick of health is only weight, it is truly wrong.

From the Ayurvedic point of view, weight depends on mamsa (muscles) and asthi (bones). So sometimes a body looks puffy but weighs less, and sometimes a body does not look heavy but weighs more – weight can follow the build (constitution) received from the parents.

If you feel your weight is low and want to increase it, perhaps because you look too thin, the most important thing is to correct your daily routine. Take care of the following and your weight will surely change:

  1. Your digestion must be proper. To improve it, wake up early (before sunrise) and do walking, light running, pranayama, yogasanas and light exercise.
  2. After meals, sit in Vajrasana for five minutes; do not lie down immediately.
  3. Sleep regularly and on time at night.
  4. Eat on time, and especially when you are hungry.
  5. Increase milk, ghee, sweets, dry fruits, adadiya and adadiya-pak in your food.
  6. If needed, regularly take Ashwagandhadi churna – 1 tablespoon in milk morning and evening, or Kauchapak, or Chyavanprash.
  7. Especially when digestion is weak and muscles are not strong, massage the body with sesame oil. Doing this regularly for one to two years will set your weight permanently.

Stop market snacks and take fresh, light food. Avoid very spicy, salty and sour food. Avoid pickles and fermented items.

At such a time, stay away from negative thoughts and always think positively.
