Hello

Have a Healthy Day !!

Welcome to the world of health from Ayurveda conducted by Dr. Nikul Patel.

Direct answer: Blood in urine, even without pain, must always be checked by a doctor. Common causes are kidney or bladder stones, infection, inflammation of the prostate or urethra, and dehydration. Please get urine tests and an ultrasound done soon. Ayurveda can help along with the right diagnosis.

Understanding the problem

Blood drops at the end of urination often come from the bladder neck, prostate or urethra. Dark yellow urine after sun exposure shows low water intake. Small stones can cause bleeding without much pain.

The Ayurvedic view

In Ayurveda, blood in urine is described under Raktameha or Mutrakrichha with Pitta and Rakta disturbance. Heat, sun, less water and spicy food increase Pitta. Treatment cools Pitta and supports the urinary system once the cause is known.

Practical steps

  • Urine routine and culture, kidney function, ultrasound of kidney, ureter and bladder as the doctor advises.
  • Drink enough water through the day, especially in heat and travel.
  • Avoid holding urine for long.

Diet

  • Coconut water, buttermilk, barley water, bottle gourd, cucumber.
  • Avoid very spicy, sour, fried food, alcohol and excess tea or coffee.

Medicine, yoga and Panchakarma

Herbs such as Gokshura, Punarnava, Chandan and Ushir are used in Ayurveda for the urinary system and Pitta. The right medicine, dose and duration will be decided by the Vaidya after your reports.

When to see a doctor immediately?

  • Large amount of blood or clots
  • Pain, burning, fever or inability to pass urine
  • Bleeding that continues for more than a day or two

Related Questions

Can dehydration cause blood in urine?

It can make urine dark and irritate, but blood needs testing for other causes.

In short: Blood at the end of urination needs urine tests and an ultrasound soon; drink enough water, avoid heat and spicy food, and Ayurvedic Pitta-cooling care can support after diagnosis.

You can consult in person or online with your reports.
