HIV and STD Testing Before Sex

I am a 34-year-old man in a loving relationship with a 45-year-old woman. We share a strong emotional connection and are now thinking about becoming sexually intimate and taking our relationship to the next level.
However, I have some concerns about our sexual health. My partner has had several relationships in the past and has been sexually intimate with most of her previous partners. She has told me that she always used condoms, which is reassuring, but I understand that condoms do not eliminate the risk of every sexually transmitted infection (STI).
I have discussed my concerns with her, and she has willingly agreed to undergo medical testing before we become sexually intimate. I would like to know which tests she should consider to check for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. Should she undergo an HIV test, syphilis screening, hepatitis testing, and tests for infections such as chlamydia and gonorrhoea? Are there any other tests that might be appropriate based on her medical and sexual history?
I am particularly concerned about HIV because I have heard that it can take a long time after exposure before the infection becomes detectable. If she undergoes testing and the results are negative, how can we know whether the results are reliable? Could an infection still be present if the test was performed too soon after a possible exposure?
I would also like to understand whether it is safe for us to have sexual intercourse if her HIV and STI test results are negative. Should we continue using condoms even after receiving negative results, and should I also undergo testing myself?
Please advise us on the appropriate tests, the correct timing of testing, the possibility of window periods, and the precautions we should take to protect both our sexual health while building a trusting and intimate relationship.
